5/5 - Excellent
We had a brilliant holiday and found St Johns Island an excellent base. It is about half an hour from downtown Charleston and if you find The Battery you can park and it's lovely walk by the water into Charleston itself.

Great location and kind staff but this hotel is definitely in need of a refresh. Paint is peeling, bathrooms are old and tiny, and you can see make-shift repairs and fixes in both room and common areas.

The bedroom carpet was not well cleaned. My wife found someone’s toe nail clippings on the floor. It had not been vacuumed well. We never were able to connect to wifi.

Clean, spacious, accommodating to my family of 5. We enjoyed that it was not directly on king street but close enough for us. If you like to walk this is your place !
