"Nice room, breakfast, pool, quiet area, close to free beach on Okaloosa island."

"The night shift person didn't know what was going on when checking in people. We got a handicap room and found out the next morning didn't have hot water. The day manager moved us to another room and didn't offer to help us. Got to the room and pillows had a smell and no pillow cases. The shower had mold on the shower curtain and the manager had is best person cleaned it. We got the idea that they knew that the handicap room had no hot water because the kept saying they knew it was leaking. I booked the room saying it was in walking distance of the Harbor,we are elderly and was to far for us to walk. Will not stay there again and no recommendations for Motel 6"

"So the rooms here are large, well appointed. It was clean enough, a little more care and getting into the crevices would make it much better. Breakfast was a little dull, can't really complain as it's free. The basic make your own waffles, egg omelette, and some sort of sausages. Various breads etc, some cereal. It was fine. Didn't use the pool didn't look particularly inviting. Great location. Plenty of parking."

"Was disappointed in the hotel. Very nice looking but could not get our room cleaned in a timely manor. Getting to the room from check in was very confusing they didn’t mention you walk through the parking garage. We went back to the front desk twice until a nice lady walked us to our room. I paid for the Suite and a balcony room. The picture showed a patio set. The balcony was so small you could barely even stand out there. Lots of construction going on. The pool said there was service until 10 and never stayed open that late. We had to carry our dirty towels back because no one was at the counter so we were unable to get our towel cards back. Other than the room itself and king beds as well as the location for the boardwalk it was very disappointing. Also asked for late check out since check out is 10am but nothing opens until 11. Location was great and shuttle to the beach as well, except when they change the hours the day of your beach plans and have to make other arrangements. Positives are the room was new and nice. Location was close to everything and excursions available right outside in the boardwalk. "

"There was no check in information sent to me before getting to the property. Checkin was at 4 and could not get into property without calling guest services once getting to the guard shack. Had to call the management company guest services to get into property. The recliner in the property was broken upon arrival and the unit we ended up in did not appear nearly as nice as any of the pictured units when booking. This is my first bad experience using expedia, i want to say the issue lies more so with avari the property management company than with expedia but i was not happy overall. "
