"The room was excellently furnished and attention to detail is very good. Best linens ever! It’s a wonderful place and I am sure there are probably great rooms.
If you are facing S Lamar, it is the loudest room I have ever stayed in after 55 years. One simply can’t get a nights rest. It can’t be overstated how loud it is. You have to ask for a quiet room or it’s awful.
Additionally there was a fire alarm. The noise from the alarm was over 110db, however in the room, the lights did not flash...

"The bed was very comfortable and the pool area was fun. Unfortunately Lakeway Resort charges resort fees and resort prices — which don’t match the quality (or lack thereof). The bathroom was laughably small, in desperate need of updating, it flooded when anyone took a shower. Additionally the carpet in the room needed serious cleaning — pet stains, wine (or blood) splatters, and marks that any normal hotel would address.
