"Great staff and the hotel is located in Alto Prado, which has so many high-end restaurants all within walking distance. Area is safe at night. Staff at the hotels is always cool. Don’t be a cheapskate gringo…make sure to tip, especially the receptionists and the waitresses at least once during your stay. Also, be humble and cool and your stay will be perfect. I recommend requesting a room above the 5th floor so that you have central AC….the higher the better so that there’s less traffic noise during the day."

"When i made my reservation, i forgot to put 2 persons in the room, once i arrived, i add 1 guest more, and for that reason they charged me almost the same price that i paid at the beggining through expedia... that was abusive, but i dont care, im not looking for a reimbursement, this was my first and last time in Dann Carlton world wide."

"Overall, the hotel had some positives, but there were definitely areas that need improvement. The room was comfortable and clean, although a bit outdated compared to what I expected. The amenities were nice, and the staff throughout the hotel was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the pool area service was extremely disappointing. The system of assigning one specific server to each guest/table created long delays and made the experience frustrating. We waited over 30 minutes just to place an order for room service/poolside food, and everything was very overpriced for the level of service provided. The concept they use for ordering simply doesn’t work efficiently during busy hours. The hotel has potential because the atmosphere and staff are pleasant, but the service experience around the pool definitely took away from the stay."
