"A better breakfast would help. The same architecture in each and every room, with really poor ventilation in the loo make the facility "cheesy", and cheap. Staff are OK, however, likely underpaid and under appreciated. Opening the windows to air the room between guests, or at least once a week might help."

First the booking website mentioned a free airport shuttle but what it fails to mention is it is only free from the airport to the hotel. "Nice hotel in a great location and very reasonably priced. We found the staff very helpful, and we would definitely return. Two points lead to a slightly lower rating - firstly, the only sideboard surface space in our room was slatted so anything small fell through it. You get used to it after a while but to us this was a silly and frustrating room interior design fault. Secondly, you have to rent bikes from the hotel per calendar day - if you want to hire bikes from 5pm one day until 5pm...

"They didn’t have irons / ironing boards in the room. When I asked they said they had one in a dusty closet on the fifth floor chained to a radiator. That’s where I ironed my shirt and slacks for a business conference. Absurd."
