"Location is good to see the aurora borealis unfortunately it was raining that night that we stayed overnight so got no chance to see it. I love the country vibe and the good view of the 2 or 3 glacier tongue. Everything was good except for our bathroom tiles which is slightly elevated from the others."

"We stayed in 2nd floor of bldg 5. Room was good but it good have been better if there’s an elevator so we need not to drag up our luggages. It’s free parking. There’s also a restaurant inside the hotel in case you don’t want to go out or if you want an early breakfast before going on the road again."

"Nice hotel that was conveniently located to a couple activities I was doing. The three hot tubs and sauna directly tied to the cold water lagoon are fantastic. The problem with this hotel as I found that the front desk staff were patiently disinterested when I arrived. With the largest issue is that there is nowhere else to eat in the vicinity and the hotel charges exorbitant amount for drinks and meals. We had the tasting menu and together with 2 glasses of wine the price tag was near 400 CDN. The service staff in the restaurant were plate, attentive, and efficient. The food at best, average, but way overvalued. You are clearly paying extra for the view and the hotel’s belief that is a high end resort. The poor bartender on the main floor was completely overwhelmed and we had to wait 15 minutes for drinks. Well other staff stood on the stairs talking. The next night I stayed in an another hotel not too far away in a town. The food was significantly better than the total stay was less than half of when I paid to stay indeed here. This simply isn’t good value and I would recommend that guests to the area look elsewhere"

"Unlike some guesthouses, this was very easy to find. There were helpful staff on site who served us dinner. No worries of mishaps from remote check ins. The room was good. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, beans and bacon in addition to the continental fare. This makes fora good stopping point on a road trip. "

"The apartment was perfect for our group of five. It was situated in a great place for visiting the glacier lagoons, Hofn, and Skaftafell National Park. The living area was comfortable for our group. Great stay!"
