"Excellent Stay & Breakfast, but Major Billing & Communication Issues.
Pros:
The stay itself was very pleasant. The service was top-notch, and the breakfast was excellent.
Cons/Areas for Improvement:
1. Breakfast Variety: While the quality was great, the menu felt repetitive. For guests staying multiple nights, it would be much better if the menu changed daily to avoid a monotonous experience by the second day.
2. Billing & Staff Training (Major Issue): This was the most stressful part of our 4-night business stay for our team of seven. Before booking via Expedia, I called the hotel to confirm if they could provide a GST invoice with my company details. They explicitly confirmed they could. However, upon check-in, the staff strictly denied this, claiming Expedia must provide it.
I spent my entire stay under significant pressure, having to explain the situation to different staff members and managers every single day. On the day of checkout, they did finally provide the bill, which proves it was possible all along.
The "hustle" and misinformation I faced were due to a clear lack of knowledge and training among the staff. Management needs to ensure that the team is properly trained on GST protocols for third-party bookings and, more importantly, that they provide consistent and accurate information to guests to avoid unnecessary stress."
