Upon arrival the guest gets a yukata and a key to 9 public thermal springs around the town, where he may bath freely. Note that they are extremely hot. The staff also offers a free ride to the Snow Monkey Park or Yudanaka Station in the morning."

"The hotel is nice with a decent traditional breakfast spread and beautiful onsen, but the actual hotel is outside the shibu onsen city so it is impossible to go into any of the 9 hot springs except 1. We had to find another room at a hotel nearby to get the key for the onsen. "
