"Loved the staff that attended to us. They welcomed with a smiling gesture. Appreciate the staff and the house. Love the quiet ambience. Tq. Recommended to those who are planning to be there for holidays "
"The best resort on the Island. The room was exactly what you expect on a small island, basic but beautiful if you want to just relax. Food was excellent and so was the service. Highly recommend."
"Welcoming and friendly staff especially at breakfast buffet. Breakfast included a good selection of food, property in great condition and very clean."
"I didnt check in. From outside, the hotel looks so scary and horrible. Poor maintainance. The shoplot is all for rent/sale. Only 1 car outside the hotel. "
"Nice hotel, freindly staff and great location. A bit patchy service when it comes to refill of room amenities (coffee, tea, snacks and soft drinks in complimentary minibar). "
"Nice place to stay on Perhentians, everything you need is available at the Barat, or a small walk to the next beach. The food options were good, really liked the BBQ.
Family sea front chalet was nice, airco and fan helped to cool down. View was a bit obstructed by the restaurant terrace. "
"Bof rapport qualité prix très exagéré, salle de bain inondée à chaque douche, pratique quand les toilettes sont dans la même pièce...lavabo prêt à tomber "
"I would say this was with the cost for sure, but you get what you pay for. There was no sink in the bathroom and the toilet sprayer kept falling off. So it was worth it for the price tag but certainly not anything fancy. "

"I really liked Arwana and would stay here again. It’s literally right on the beach. The water is crystal clear and baby reef sharks swim around happily. Perhentian doesn’t have any roads so the hotel can arrange water taxis. We did the Redang island trip and the snorkelling trip, both arranged by Arwana and they were both excellent.
Don’t go expecting a 5 star experience, but this hotel has a rustic charm, the room was nice and clean and the pool is a good size. It’s peaceful and exudes chilled island vibes. In the evening, walk down the beach for different dining options and try the guys to grill the fresh seafood for you. I loved it here. A thoroughly relaxing stay in pristine surroundings."
"The island is beautiful but the accommodations are subpar and not worth what they charge. Rooms are much smaller than they appear in the pictures online. Also, the staff at the restaurant are SOOOO slow. They don’t care because they build 18% tip into your bill so they could care less about serving you. Reception desk also doesn’t care 5 of them stand around twiddling their thumbs while only one works. Overall I would recommend that you go somewhere else. "
