"I absolutely loved my stay here. The property supplied everything one could imagine. Even the most random things like shoe warmers. It was in a great location and we had a little bar right next to us so we could stop for a drink. Easy walk to the historic town or to the Samurai village. I would highly recommend it. "

"The room came with dinner and breakfast- both were delicious feasts with a variety of dishes. They did forget one of my preferences for foods, though. The baths are well maintained, but the building is an older style. The staff were all so helpful. A great introduction to the ryokan!"

"Interesting traditional inn but modern facilities. Staff guide you around the property, which is quite unusual when you're used to staying in standars hotels. Staff have varying levels of English but thanks to Google translate it didn't cause any problems. Slight miscommunication about our check out time, but it was resolved and we found our way out of the hotel(!)"

"Our junior suite was amazing. We had locals sweets everyday in our room with explanation about the local ingredients. "Very high quality hotel directly opposite Kanazawa Station. Beautiful lobby and room. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Porter service was convenient and helped us to bring our luggages to our room. Toyota car rental in located in the same building. Will definitely choose this hotel again during my next visit to Kanazawa. "
