"This guest house is absolutely unique - it has an atmosphere of a hut in the woods, and it is actually in the woods. on the way, you pass by an ancient castle, which we loved to explore. At the guesthouse we received one of the best meals we ever had, so special and so well made! Finally, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the common dining room is quite interesting and very cozy. Although the guesthouse is off the beaten path, it is worth the drive, and it is actually only 20 minutes...

Location is perfect; middle of the town center, very close to Alter Platz, with restaurants and a Billa nearby. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel fully. Only downside was Expedia: I ordered an upgraded room "with breakfast", making it appear as if breakfast was extra. However, all rooms appear to have breakfast. So, Expedia tricked me into paying more...

"Gorgeous suite, great views, fabulous dinner both nights and delicious breakfast. Staff made us feel very welcome. We experienced both sunshine and snow and were glad to make use of the sauna in our room! Would highly recommend."

"We stayed here for one night. The check-in process is actually outside in the hallway, and you have to check yourself in. The rooms are OK — a bit small, but still fine for a short stay. I couldn’t get the AC to work because both the AC unit and thermostat are quite outdated. Luckily, the night was cool, so we just left the balcony door open. "The hotel has a killer location that completely changes everything about the stay in Bled. Front desk and the pool team is very nice and helpful. The pool and the beach are outstanding. However, the hotel is very dated and the rooms are falling apart. The hardwood floor is lose and windows panels are cracked. It’s used to be charming but now it just very old. The breakfast service was disappointing, our omelette was discussing but the rest of the breakfast was good and had a lot of verity....

My only complaint would be that on lake view rooms, you cannot really see the lake due to tree coverage, which felt a bit like false advertising. "I would not recommend this place. Receptionist met us when we arrived. Told us there was staffing issues at their hotel in Blef. Gave us the code to the front doorand a number to call for emergencies. We went to dinner, came back at 930pm. There was not lights on inside or outside the hotel. We had the only car in the parking lot. We made our way up to the front door and had to find out where the light switches were. We fell on the steps . DEFINITELY A SAFETY ISSUE. We walked around the hotel...

"Very nice and conveniently located property. Very helpful staff. The Steakhouse is a must go for dinner( not sure if it belongs to the hotel). Mattresses were hard, and linens rough so we didn’t have a great sleep. "
