Our stay at the Grandhotel Pupp was enjoyable. The staff was really nice and helpful. The atmosphere is luxurious and the breakfast and dinner were tasty with lots of choices. The only critique we have is that the spa and café seem a bit small for such a big hotel. We also had to queue for breakfast both times, again the facilities might be a bit too small for the number of rooms/guests.

Such a beautiful town and everything is walkable. The hotel restaurant was booked our first night for dinner, so the front desk helped us book another equally amazing restaurant for dinner. The spa/hot tubs were lovely, though we weren't able to schedule any services. Lunch at the main restaurant was a highlight **expensive but worth it! The room was well appointed with comfy bedding and pillows - plus a chocolate! And now I need to go back!!

This was the second time we stayed here and again, it was great. The facility and breakfast were excellent and the staff were friendly. This was the first time visiting Becher's Bar where the only issue occurred. The lady would not let me charge our bill to our room. She wanted to see the card with our room number written. I assumed it was the card that held our room keys that was given after we checked in. I showed our room key and told her our room number, but that was not sufficient. I was able charge everything else to our room without issue or being asked to see that "card". Regardless, the place is still one of our favorites and will return in the future ..... maybe not to Becher's Bar though.
