Lovely. Long wide strip of white sand and clear water, some currents at parts. No boats.

Karon is a more relaxed beach resort area with excellent beach, and plenty of activities available from massage to parasailing. If you want noise and vibrancy Patong beach area is just 10 minutes drive away.

Really clean beach with friendly sun bed lenders. There are shops on he beach or a 2 minute walk away where beer is 55baht (£1.25) and ice creams are 20baht (40p).There are lots of sellers on the beach too though so you don’t have to move if you don’t want to.
