"The hotel location is beautiful. The building is well kept and clean. The staff was amazing! We loved our room overall but there were a few minor inconveniences: 1. The shower handle kept getting stuck and was hard to turn off. 2. We went in April and the room got very hot at night. You couldn’t change the room thermostat from hot to cold. So they told us to open the windows, which let a bee inside our room because the windows had no nets. "

"No elevator. No bellboy to help with luggage. No coffee in room, but great coffee downstairs in lobby. Had to ask for paper items ( ran out of tissue, toilet paper, etc. and had to ask for fresh towels.) Out of three nights only once had maid service. Loved the night staff! Loved the collection of vinyls in rooms, plus extra ones in lobby. Loved the wine served in the evening in the awesome lobby by the fire. Best part was the locals, shops, and hospitality all in walking distance!"

"Beautiful boutique hotel near everything, but tucked away enough to be quiet. They upgraded us to a suite, which was one of the loveliest rooms we’ve ever stayed in."

"The hotel is very nice/upscale. However, they lease a downstairs area to a restaurant that they have no control over. Our room was directly on top and music played rather loudly until 10 PM. Nothing to be done! This is a real disadvantage and needs to be considered before considering this hotel."

"Great location, gorgeous building and rooms were very pretty. Had issues closing the bathroom door because it kept getting stuck in the frame which makes sense in an old house but wish it was something that was taken care of. Service at front desk was lukewarm and not very welcoming. "

"Because the Morgan has a poor interface with Expedia, I never received the texts they promised after I booked the room. Eventually, I was able to gain entry to the hotel with the help of a staff member who gave me a key to my room, which was up two very steep flights of steps. The room itself was superb: modern, clean, a comfortable bed, and a private roof deck. The commercial area outside the hotel is noisy until 9:00 pm or so -- and probably much later in the summer (I came during the off...

"We were not taken care of vis-a-vis check-in. We had to track down the maid to get some answers. We had to get a key from a neighboring restaurant. We tried to call the front desk, we tried to text and ask for the key code to get into our room and nobody ever responded not even after we checked out. Thank God for the maid Susan. The room was shabby: carpet stained, old sink in bathroom weird old shower head. No office to get ice. Still no contact from office. Very unprofessional."
