"The food choices were extensive, something for everyone. The staff from the breakfast to upstairs bar to cleaning services were excellent.
Everyone was warm & welcoming, plus always wanting to hear what you got to see while visiting their island.
The hotel was Extremely clean, the floors sparkled. The hotel is striking in size and decor.
The only 2 things they could improve for a 5 star, the spa needs music, lighting and a menu of options.
And if you are going to have a balcony, a chair or 2 would be nice to sit outside so you can enjoy the view "
"La chambre était très propre et le lit confortable. La petite terrasse était très apprécié. L'emplacement de l'hôtel était idéal pour visiter le vieux heraklion a pied. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Heraklion malgré la pluie."
"We were welcomed by the helpful couple at reception and showed to our rooms early. The rooms where nice and clean with a comfortable bed. We had a coffee maker in the room which was really nice. The rooms are small but comfortable. The reception gave us some good suggestions where to go for dinner. Everything was close by and within walking distance We had a nice breakfast at the hotel too with many delicious choices.. I can highly recommend this property"
"The property is advertised as a 4 star probably based on the amenities however it’s a 3 star at the most based on UK STANDARDS.
The food is limited for vegetarians apart from the array of salads and possibly 4 vegetarian main options. Foods are not not always labelled. However the chef is accommodating if given pre-notice.
Rooms needs a revamp, common areas are not cleaned, sun bed are not cleaned daily."
"The villas was very clean, spacious and modern. We were there March 12-16 so very early in the season. The pools were closed which I didn’t know until getting there as it was shown when I booked that heated pools were all year round. There was apparently a sandstorm from Africa for a week prior to us coming which then closed the pools. The host offered us an extra night free however we already had our flights back to Athens booked so couldn’t take advantage of that. Michaelis offered a dinner for the 4 of us so we took him up on that offer and it was excellent. The location was pretty good, 20 min from Heraklion, beaches, about 40 min to the CreteAquarium. It’s a pretty quiet area that you are in, the locals are quite friendly and helpful
I would stay again as long as the pool was open as my kids felt the disappointment with it not being open. "
"We had a great stay. Hotel was sparkling clean. Lovely pool and simple but very good breakfast with freshest vegetables and feta every day. Coffee machine worked well and the options for coffee were fantastic. Plenty of parking near hotel, and a nice village and great beach in walking distance were of course what we came for. I wish we stayed even longer. "
