"We paid for an Oceanview, our reservation said nothing about a partial ocean view. The pictures on-line showed beautiful views from your private patio, what we got was a view of parking lot and back of a restaurant, with a slight ocean view. The room had deferred maintenance and the patio couldn’t be used to its fullest because the unit above had a water leak that went down to our patio. I’ve stayed all around the world, this was in now way a $1000 a night room! Not to mention we were billed for two massages we never received. The spa messed up our reservation times, they actually sent our reservation confirmation 2 days after our appointment. When I tried disputing with the Spa manager she refused to remove the charges."
"Property is so old and the room was so unclean.
Walls and cabinets and floor was really dirty.
The Ritz Carlton is not what I thought it would be. Won’t go back"
"Everything was pretty awesome there. Maui Brewing Company food is phenomenal. My only complaint would have to be that with a resort fee of $45 a day having to pay an additional $85 for two chairs and an umbrella seemed a little bit ridiculous. That should have been included within the resort fee. Otherwise it was a great stay. The staff are all so super friendly"
"This property has washer and dryer. They are free to use. It is very useful. Love it. Some front desks are very friendly, but some are not. The breakfast is just ok, not impressive."
"We love staying at The Whaler Resort! I like that it’s right next to all the shops and restaurants at Whaler Village. It’s a really nice combination of hotel amenities and condo living. The staff is super friendly and the property is very well maintained. We’ll definitely be staying here again."
