"We stayed 7 nights at Tempo Suites and had a very pleasant stay. While the outside of the building is not very attractive, the apartment itself was surprisingly nice — very clean, tidy, and well equipped. The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, and Malta’s National Aquarium. Communication with the host was great via Expedia’s message portal. "Based on the photos, I was expecting a nicer place. The finish was peeling off of all the cabinet handles and the rooftop area was blocked by planters. We managed to go out anyway and nothing was set up. The cleaning staff took my reusable make up washcloth when they were cleaning. I alerted the front desk but nothing was ever said again about it. Also on the last night our toilet broke and we were expected to just go downstairs every time we had to go."
