Love the seclusion and charm of this lodge. Pool looked immaculate, and the wooded surroundings are ideal for any getaway. Best feature is the patio deck off each room.... beautiful views!

We loved Whispering Pines. It's a great place to stay. The room has plenty of space, the bathroom was really big. The view we had of the hills from our balcony was wonderful. The staff were really friendly. We couldn't find any faults at all. It's a little gem in the area

Whisping Pine Lounge was a great place, felt like home away from home lounge, beautiful scenery, the night are big n starry, the customer service.... leaving the key for us cause we were running late was going above and beyond Great Customer Service, thank you for giving us great moments in our time to remember !!

The Whispering Pines is a great mountain retreat. We were greeted by a colorful neon sign. I love the wood cabin feel of the rooms. The bathroom was extremely large with two sinks, a separate shower, and a separate tub. Our room overlooked the mountains and river, which was gorgeous. We even had a balcony. The staff made sure we had all the information we needed upon check in. The location is extremely convenient—right outside the main center of Kernville. Our only issue was that the bathroom floor was a bit sticky, and our ceiling fans had a lot of dust buildup on them. The pool overlooking the mountains is nice, but if it were heated, that would be better since the water stays cold due to the cold nights.

I loved the old fashioned antiques. I loved the fireplace! It was an old property but I liked how they made it so cozy & warm. We were very comfy but the bed was super old & my back ached. Decorations & quiet & nice location made up for it! I’d stay here again but there was no breakfast & it’s more expensive than usual motels.

Loved it here!

I really enjoyed my stay at Whispering Pines Lodge. Check in was easy at the main office and there is free parking on site steps from the room. The property manager was very helpful and recommended some great restaurants and was accommodating with our two dogs. The location is amazing, with rooms overlooking the river and walking distance (or a less than minute drive) to the brewery, restaurants, and market). The view was amazing and there are large patios with tables to sit and enjoy the scenery and sound of the river below. The property also has trails and a lot of outdoor space, great for walking the dogs around and getting to explore some of Kernville after stepping out the door (trail also leads down to the river). The room was very clean, heater worked well, and the bathroom was large and in great shape. The room also had a mini fridge (great for beers and any leftovers) and a microwave. Wifi also worked great for streaming Netflix on my laptop. Overall, I couldn't have been happier with my stay here at Whispering Pines Lodge and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Kernville.
