"I rarely leave reviews, but this needs to be said. Our stay at the Oasis Hotel and Bar was honestly shocking—in the worst way.
The front desk was almost always unattended, and the hallways smelled strongly of marijuana the entire time. The room was very outdated—no USB outlets, no light in the shower (so you’re basically showering in the dark), and the bed smelled terrible and was so uncomfortable that both my husband and I woke up with back aches. The walls are paper-thin—you can hear everything around and above you.
The pool and hot tub were down due to broken heaters, which was never communicated. The vending machines took our $5 and there was no one available to help or refund us.
Breakfast was the worst part. The waffle maker didn’t cook the waffles all the way, there were ants near the food, and the scrambled eggs were slimy. The only decent item was sausage links—there were only two left, with no staff refilling anything. The coffee was extremely bitter and tasted awful. I tried toast and jelly, but the orange jelly smelled so bad I threw it away.
We were genuinely floored this place is still operating in this condition. One of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had."
