Top Kildonan Hotel Reviews

The Royal Hotel

8/10 Good

"Clean room, bar and comfy bed."

Dunvegan House Guest House

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely guest house in great location. The host was very friendly and helpful and went out if her way to ensure a comfortable stay. Very good freshly cooked breakfast. Would recommend 👌"

Lamlash Bay Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The food was lovely, and the staff was very helpful"

Auchrannie Resort

10/10 Excellent

"We found everything at the resort to be excellent. We did not have time to take advantage of the pools and exercise equipment, nor some of the other facilities available. The restaurant buffet breakfasts were superb. However, we did not like the burgers, which were required by law to be well done."

Allandale House

8/10 Good

"kind host and excellent breakfast. proximity to ferry terminal and buses useful for journey planning."

Lodge 4 - "birch"

10/10 Excellent

"I read some not so good reviews about the lodge so was a bit nervous. I can now say with absolute certainty that I will go back yearly or more if I can! The comments about the smell were totally off base/exaggerated. It is a lodge in the woods, surrounded by water in Scotland! It's going to rain! There was a dehumidifier running when I arrived plus I opened a window to circulate the air for about 15 - 20 minutes while I unloaded the car so had no issues with damp or a musty smell. Lisa met me in the car park and showed me where everything was and how they worked. She is an absolute gem of a person. Yes it's true that you can't park outside of the lodge and have to carry your things up the small hill, so if you have mobility issues, this lodge might not be for you but they do have ones closer to the car park with no hill to walk up. If you are expecting 5 star, white glove accommodation at this price, you've got unrealistic expectations! If you want a cozy, comfortable lodge in a beautiful setting, this is for you."

Corrie Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Fabulous place highly recommend"

Ardshiel Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"A lovely place to stay, busy, welcoming, nothing too much trouble for staff who are very attentive and helpful, always a smile and welcome. Breakfast good other meals very good and well priced."

The Douglas Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We had a most comfortable and enjoyable stay at The Douglas. The rooms were immaculate and breakfast was great."
