"The only reason I have dropped a star is because the noise. You can hear everything in the rooms at the back of the main bar. Staff were fantastic with customer service. This is the only thing i feel lets the place down"

"The Strathburn is a charming hotel. The staff were very courteous and helpful. We found it quite warm in the room likely because the days were warmer than we expected & there is no A/C. We were disappointed that there is no longer a restaurant for dinner in the evening. The staff was helped us to order pizza to be delivered to the hotel."

"Lovely place in the forest. Magnificent outside area to have a drink and look at the mountains. Food both dinner and breakfast were delicious and staff efficient and nice. Highly recommend"

"We booked very last minute and got a good price which included breakfast. We had requested a room with a bath if possible but didn't get one and staff member who checked us in didn't mention the request at all. The room was a good size and clean enough. We were only given 1 coffee cup in the room but that didn't bother us as we didn't need it this time but I'm sure if we'd asked we would have been given one as the staff on the bar/restaurant were very friendly and good. They allowed us to go for a later breakfast which was fantastic and the food in the restaurant the night before was really tasty as was the breakfast of which there was a good amount of selection. We would stay again if in the area."
