"Great location. The burger and toasted cheese sandwiches that we ate in the snack bar were as good as any others we had in California. Price is high for the room but that is to be expected when staying in a NP and being surrounded by all the natural beauty. All the staff we met were very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and suited our needs."

It always baffles me how when you do upgrades you don’t finish the job. We had a beautiful new floor in the bathroom, but no trim except one side. So the sheet rock is all dinged in and flaking. The colors on the walls make it look really dingy. I don’t know what the idea was behind the topcoat they put on the paint. Refrigerator coffee maker...

"Loved being so close to Sequoia Park, and truthfully we mostly used it just to rest before and after the park. I did find myself wondering why the quilts were ugly-side-out. The area around where the rooms are was a little worse for wear. But the room was clean enough, and I really, truly loved the sheets that were on the bed."

9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (127)
"When we arrived at the Sequoia Resort, Karthik greeted us and told us about all of the wonderful features of the property, including a grill and bicycles we were free to use, a lake with paddle boats we could borrow, free laundry, and a library room with books, games, DVDs, and (my favorite part) a litter of kittens that had recently been born on the property! We stayed in the guest suite, which is a studio apartment-style room with a queen-sized bed, bathroom, and kitchen. The kitchen had...
