"I'm not sure how this hotel had so many 4 star reviews. Let me start with the positives. The staff was kind and the bed was super comfortable and it had A/C. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. The hotel is so dark, drab and outdated. There were no amenities. No free secure WiFi, no safe, no mini fridge, no microwave, not even tissues. The one chair in the room was uncomfortable. "The location was good. My only recommendation is that when people book through Expedia that you tell them that they need to see staff to register, they cannot do it through the kiosks in the lobby."

"Very conveniently located to Loch Lomond & the highlands. The staff (Alistair, Faith, & George, to name a few) were professional, friendly, and accommodating. The dining room was bright & neat & clean. The food was very nice and there was a wide variety to choose from for dinner. This is an older hotel, but everything worked. The soundproofing was excellent! Could not hear the motorway or people in adjacent rooms or in the hallway, even though the hotel was full."
