"The plus was it was close to Busch Gardens which was why we were there. We had an adjoining room with our teen son and his friends. The property felt very dated and was disappointing. Besides proximity, the pool was a reason we chose the hotel and it was closed for the day. Also, the breakfast buffet was on the same level as other similar hotels but was $16 per person and not worth it. I doubt we would stay here again."

Room was nice, one small issue, no hand soap, bath mats, or towels u til cleaning came 1/2 way through the stay. Also lighting is poor in main bedroom."

"The management was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good. Loved the waffles! The location was very good to get to Busch Gardens but there were no restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is old and needs some repairs but the room was clean and did not smell!"

"I was staying on the first floor. People were smoking in the room above me. This is a nonsmoking hotel. I alerted the front desk three times and nothing was done. We had to check out and get another hotel at 11:45pm with two children. I was told to “take it up with Expedia” when I refused to pay for the night. I am not one to write reviews but this was such a terrible experience. Don’t stay here."

"I stayed in a tavern room, which was right on Duke of Gloucester Street, in the middle of historic Williamsburg. It was a very cool experience, staying in this historic property for one night.
