"I love the Outer Banks Motel and used to stay there 15 - 16 years ago. However, now it needs some upgrading. Supposedly we had the coolest room in the motel (Room B) but we were very hot, and it was only in May! The HVAC needs some work! Also this dear place needs to install a better toilet in Room B. The tiny toilet there is probably 30 years old. It is coming loose from its mooring and you feel like you are going to get bucked off! "I know it’s an older hotel but she needs some upgrades. Front and back door doesn’t shut all the way. No ventilation in the bathroom. Bathroom is really really old. The view was beautiful no doubt. Parking isn’t the best- narrow spots and limited spaces. Lamps are really old in the room. The ones in the wall aren’t stable and the lamp shades look 20 years old.
