"The staff and especially Olga the Manager went above and beyond the call of duty. That's why I stay there year after year. The lobby is like going into a ski resort with knotty pine walls and a fire going when the outside temperature is below 50 degrees. Long time employee Tommy is always friendly and helpful ."

"As an older hotel, it has a few cosmetic things but nothing major. Very quiet but also off season- great rate!! We had an issue with the blow dryer which was taken care of very quickly by maintenance. Enjoyed our stay"

"I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. Lisa, the innkeeper, was very helpful and friendly. Beth, the Manager and breakfast chef was super hospitable. With the beach just a short walk away...we...
