"We chose this as a budget option prior to festival. It was exactly that and would not book this place again or recommend it unless it’s your only option. We booked a 6 person room and were placed in the rooms off the parking lot in the back, not the main building. The door lock to the room was terrible. It was very loose and seemed like with a small shoulder nudge to the door, anyone could have easily broken in off the street. Not secure. The shower was an absolute trickle of water and the last...

"We had a great stay. I was concerned about the self check-in, but it was easy and went very smoothly. The room is small, but it is very nice and updated and clean. A good location as well, walking distance to Old Town if you’re up for a longer walk."

We also had enough coffee for the evening and morning which was a nice touch. The location is excellent with a good selection of great restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. It was really nice to stay just outside of the main city in Leith and it was a comfortable 30 minute walk the next morning for our visit to the Royal Yacht Britannia"
