"Have to walk to the restaurant to get ice .They have nothing to put it in they give you a plastic bag with a few cubes by the time you walk to your room they are almost all melted Shower leaked and water goes everywhere We went to eat at the restaurant the flys were rampant.Our drinking glasses were never replaced. No lights going up the stairs Terrible terrible However the mountain view was beautiful"

"Very old outdated property, short staffed located 3 miles up on the hills using one winding road to get there. the bus came once every hour and dropped off at West train station. I had to take another bus to get to Ost train station where the city center was located. unless you are 7 ft tall the bath tub was high and dangerous to get in and out. the ceiling was angled and slopped low above the bed."

"This hotel was an amazing retreat during our month long city hopping trip. The room was very nice, comfortable bed, right next to laundry room, excellent breakfast, and even had a private balcony where we would sit each night and reflect on the day. Very close to train station and grocery store, plus our host gave us a handy map to use. Train/bus is very easy to use in Interlaken, so sites were very easy to access and the hotel gave us a card we could use for free local public transport. The...

"Due to my late arrival and early departure, I did not interact directly with staff, only through messaging. However, they were VERY attentive and super helpful. The room and facility were clean and organized. It’s not the newest place in the world, but is very well kept and quite charming. I had absolutely not complaints. With the recent heat wave, the fan that was in the room was a welcome treat! Thanks for a very pleasant stay!!"

"Very noisy at night from patrons at nearby restaurant and general late night noise on the adjacent alley. No AC so keeping the window open at night was preferable but let in the noise."

"We had a great room and view of Interlaken. Weather was very hot, room needed air conditioning. I was advised to use the fan. Later found out another guest had same issue and was offered air con on 5th floor. While a issue highlighted above, staff were very nice. We needed a plug socket converter as our two pin would not fit due to the socket shape. All provided free by hotel............just return on leaving. Thank you."

"The hotel was clean and the staff were polite. The only downside was that everything cost money. For example, you have to pay for slippers that are provided free of charge everywhere. It was a bit far from the city center and after 7 pm, the area was completely silent and nowhere was open. I do not recommend this hotel for smokers."
