Runtergekommenes Hotel aus den 70ern. Ausstattung und Zustand nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Frühstück erst ab 8:00, wird aber nirgendwo angegeben. Hatte extra mit Balkon gebucht, habe aber ein Zimmer ohne erhalten. Auf nachfrage wöllte man mir noch nichtmal den Preis mindern. Alles, insbesondere außen, alles vergammelt und ungepflegt. Nachts schlechte oder keine Beleuchtung, was bei diesen Wegen nicht ungefährlich ist.

Zimmer bei Ankunft nicht aufgeräumt. Safe verschlossen. Telefon nicht funktionsfähig. 1 Lampe defekt, 1 aus der Halterung gesprungen. Elektrisch zu betätigendes Fenster nicht zu öffnen. Spinnweben in der Ecke. Treppe auf den Schlafboden zu steil, Stufen zu schmal, fehlender Handlauf. Zimmer nicht barrierefrei. Obwohl als Gluten-Allergiker angemeldet, abends kein Fleischgericht zu bekommen. Getränk bestellt, aber nicht serviert; gleichwohl in Schlußrechnung aufgeführt.

Er waren twee kamers gelijktijdig geboekt. Het hotel had slechts weet van één. Het inchecken duurde dan ook eindeloos lang. Op een later tijdstip inchecken bleek ook problematisch maar is uiteindelijk toch gelukt. De man achter de balie was merkbaar drunken en zijn college ronduit onbeschoft.

The room and the customer service were okay, but nothing memorable. Bad wifi connection. The surroundings of the hotel, however, were beautiful.

Slecht bereikbaar voor iets ouderen.

Zonder Tom-Tom haast niet te vinden!! Vanaf de parkeerplaats naar de entree is een steile klim. Na 20.00uur Entree deur op slot. In de omgeving weinig uitgaans-gelegenheid.

Quiet, comfortable, clean escape

The building is quite nice and located in a lovely area. The rooms were really clean, modern and well-thought out ( eg lots of things like plugs for phone chargers next to the bed). Each room faces out onto nice views. WiFi was good and very easy to connect. It seems a really nice place to escape away from it all and take some nice runs/walks. The only negative things were: On two occasions the staff walked interest my room quickly after knocking. I was leaving early each morning of my stay and was promised a takeaway breakfast (breakfast only stays at 8 am) but on both days , it wasn’t left outside my room.

Meine Buchung lag nicht vor, Zimmer war sehr kalt und wurde auch nicht mehr warm. Frühstück war erst ab 8 h möglich, für einen Geschäftsreisenden unmöglich, Frühstück musste also ausfallen.

Statt 4 Sterne eher Jugendherberge

Unsauberes, kaltes Zimmer bei Ankunft. Kein Telefon auf Zimmer, Kein Kühlschrank auf Zimmer, Kein Zimmerservice am Samstag. Frühstück durchschnittlich und übersichtlich. Restaurant abends nicht entsprechend den angegebenen 4 Sternen.

Goed hotel

Heel behulpzaam ivm laat aankomen. Goede oplossing. kamer netjes en rustig. ontbijt was heel goed en verzorgd. hotel was groot met verschillende thema's. geen gebruik gemaakt van faciliteiten zoals sauna etc ivm late aankomst geweest als overnachtingshotel

Abgelegenes Hotel, sehr netter Empfang. Vorher per Telefon 2 Massagen gebucht, bei Ankunft auf einmal Mitarbeiterin krank Zustand des Hotel: etwas älter, jedoch sauber. Sehr hellhörig

Günstiges Hotel mit Charme für Hundehalter

Das Hotel ist hübsch und vom Preis her unschlagbar. Allerdings war mein Zimmer bei Ankunft nicht geheizt und somit viel zu kalt im winterlichen Sauerland. Es ist ein Hotel für Hundefreunde.

Hotel auf dem Berg

Wir waren 2 Tage in diesem Hotel. Im Frühstücksraum saßen neben den Gästen vier Hunde, davon 2 sehr groß. Der Kaffeeautomat konnte maximal 3 bis 4 Tassen nacheinander aufbrühen, danach war ein Aufheizvorgang notwendig. Rührei wurde nicht angeboten.

Really nice place for a stop over

This was a stop over while driving from OberBayern back to Calais - a journey I've done many times where one is looking for somewhere, nice, safe (for the car loaded with goodies) and restful. Carpe Diem is all of those and its only drawback for the impatient traveller is getting to and from the autobahn. I'm not an impatient traveller so this was great and I'll probably stay again, if taking the Koln-Aschaffenburg route. Only things that could be improved are wireless coverage in the rooms - my TV wasn't receiving a signal but that was irrelevant. Breakfast and Dinner were very good too. I did laugh at a previous review noting a gruff, unsmiling member of Staff - it's his manner not his attitude.

Natur pur.....sehr sauberes und freundliches Haus

Schöne Umgebung. Leider hat das Restaurant nur von Donnerstag bis Sonntag geöffnet. In unter 5 Minuten mit dem Wagen findet man aber gute Möglichkeiten zu essen.
