"Full cooked breakfast was available, parking was available with plenty of space. The room could have been cleaned better, especially around the window but the rest of the room and the bathroom were fine. Staff were friendly and helpful. I understand the property had new owners so they were probably still getting to know the property."

"On arrival at 2:45 for 3pm check in we were told by the girl it was £15 for an early check in, at £1 a minute we said no thank you we will sit in the car. We said there was coffee pods in the room but no Coffee machine, she said oh I don’t know, so that was the end of that. Next morning with another guest we were trying to get into the pub area, only to find both doors were locked. The same girl as yesterday eventually opened up and said you should use other door, when we said we did she said...

"Great, basic place to stay. I have only ever stayed one night. The gardens are lovely and I particularly like that you can walk to the Plough through the fields (and back via road if dark). Also Blue Diamond garden centre 5 min walk away too. Cambridge park and ride 5 mins in other direction. No breakfast available at Hotel any more. Check in at 4.00pm perhaps the only negative."

"not a good sleep the first night due to a machine in the courtyard for freezing purposes. apparently the normal freezer had broken. however after we complained we were moved to another room which was a lot better in fact an upgrade on our previous room hopefully the university of cambridge will rectify this in the not to distant future. the staff were excellent"

"There is much to like about this place, however, its age presents challenges for the owners in balancing the rustic qualities with modern facilities? Would I stay here again, probably not, especially in the summer. It was impossible to sleep without air-conditioning, and, bearing in mind that overnight accommodation is the primary reason for booking. There are numerous public transport facilities with it being located right next to a train station with convenient connections to london and the north. The hotel is situated in a quiet modernised area and the parking is safe and in plentiful availability. The parking is operated by an external provider and can be a faff as there are no physical paystations, with payment...

"A solid affordable option for Cambridge. It is located next to a train station with frequent departures to Cambridge or it is one junction on the M11 to a Park & Ride facility, which makes this a good option for those with a car. Cars are a real nightmare in Cambridge, so an adjoining car park with public transport options is a plus. Staff were very guest focused, although they could use a few more of them. The elevator was not working during my stay, a real problem for those with accessibility...

"Location was good, right off the highway. Lots of free parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was very good. We didnt have the breakfast. Shower was nice had a bathtub. Beds were ok pillows were hard and not very comfortable. Would stay again."
