Premier Hotel Mojiko
"Great old style hotel right near the JR station. Big room and classic hallways, with great service. All basic amenities were provided. Right next to the drawbridge and the harbour walk, and the ferry to Honshu. Didn't try the Italian restaurant."

Kokura
Well liked for its breweries and hot springs, Kokura is worth a visit. Check out the variety of things to see and do like Kokura Castle and Tanga Market, and jump on the metro at Tanga Station to get around the city.
