breakfast was quite nice but there wasn't much fresh fruit. I wasn't given the wifi code when I arrived and there was noone on reception in the evening to ask. When I did get it the signal was very weak and not worth having.

Great little spot, about a 10 min walk from the train station. Klagenfurt is small. The Hotel is in the central area and it is easy and safe to navigate. Definitely take a bus out to Minimundus! The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very warm and welcoming. It was a very nice stay. The bed was a little too firm for me. Besides that I have no complaints.

Alles soweit gut. Zentrale Lage. Wir waren nur für eine Nacht dort (Zimmer 18 - recht klein, aber funktional). Die Bauarbeiten am Morgen hörte man kaum. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, u.a. auf Wunsch Spiegel- oder Rühreier.

Zeer hartelijke ontvangst, kleinschalig hotel. 's Nachts was het heel rustig, doordeweeks overdag kan de aangrenzende bouwplaats geluid opleveren. Goed ontbijtbuffet. Ik had een relatief kleine eenpersoons kamer, netjes en schoon, eenvoudig ingericht, geschikt voor een kort verblijf.Hotel is gemakkelijk te bereiken vanaf het station en is vlak bij het centrum.

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt in ihrem Hotel. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine kleiner Kritikpunkt war das etwas schmale Bett und das Zimmer zur Straße - bei geöffnetem Fenster war es ziemlich laut. Aber wir haben die Reise sehr genossen.

Zentrale Lage und toller Service

Ein kleines, familiengeführtes Hotel in der Klagenfurter Innenstadt. Sehr freundliches Personal in allen Bereichen, das sich jederzeit darum bemüht, dem Gast seine Wünsche zu erfüllen. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet und bieten außer einem Kleiderschrank eine Nacht-Kommode mit Leselampe neben dem Bett und einen Flachbildfernseher mit Satellitenprogramm. Auch an einen Fön wurde gedacht sowie einen kleinen Heizstrahler für die kalte Jahreszeit. Außerdem gibt es einen kleinen Schreibtisch. WiFi überall. Im 3-geschossigen Hotel liegen einige seiner Zimmer um einen kleinen, ruhigen Innenhof herum. 2 Minuten entfernt liegt ein Wochenmarkt mit netten Cafés. Besonders angetan war ich vom reichhaltigen Frühstücksbuffet, das wirklich etwas von allem bietet: Wurst, (Frisch-) Käse, Joghurt/Quark, Müsli, Brot, Gebäck und sogar Kuchen. Dazu wird jedem Gast angeboten, ein gekochtes Ei oder eine Eierspeise (Rührei) oder ein Spiegelei gebraten zu bekommen. Die vollautomatische Kaffeemaschine mit einer Auswahl an nicht weniger als sechs Kaffee-Variationen rundet das Rundum-sorglos-Angebot ab. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer. Gerade bei gleichzeitig anwesenden Gästen, die den Begriff "Türklinke" nur vom Hörensagen kennen und das Klagenfurter Nachtleben ausgiebig erkunden, ist dies etwas nervenraubend. An allen anderen Tagen - und das dürften die meisten sein - ist das Hotel aber ohne jeden Abzug zu empfehlen! Ich komme gerne wieder.

Nice stopover.

Obviously a nice female touch to the hotel, great breakfast, friendly family operation & staff. Two floors of stairs to room keeps us fit. Helpful as to what to do in the area around Klagenfurt. In centre of town, only 600 meters to intercity train.

Lovely stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful 2-night stay. It’s a 10 minute walk from the train station. Check in was quick and friendly. 5 min walk to town center. Room 12 was large and comfortable. It had a small side room with a desk and armoire. The bed was the most comfortable we’ve had - the light, fluffy comforter was perfect for sound slumber. Hot tea and fresh fruit was available in the evening. Don’t miss the breakfast! It was our first time in Klagenfurt and we feel we made the right choice with this hotel.
