"The staff was lovely and Tomas was especially helpful with advice about what to do in the area. Breakfast was delicious and the 24 hour coffee and cookies was a nice touch. The shower towels for drying could be longer and thicker but otherwise no complaints. Highly recommend."

"Lovely hotel across from a church (ringing bells were a nice touch). Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful, complete with yogurt, granola, meat and cheese, bread, croissants, etc.....the ginger shot was a nice finish each morning! Our room was small, but wonderful, with a view of the village. Everything was very well designed and laid out....a great use of space. I did not realize ahead of time that in order to use hot tub/sauna, you had to book a special package, so we...

"Liked "cabin"/ski-resort hotel feel. Not so much the 10 minute walk across murren to get to the train to get down to Lauterbrunnen.
Comfy bed, but no heat. It was mid-September and we returned to the hotel cold and were told there was no heat for another week when Fall started!
Nice restaurant deck. Breakfast and breakfast staff were great. Dinner and dinner staff were great."

"Since the Schilthorn corp. bought this property it is being run as an afterthought. Front desk closed, no communication with guests before arrival as to how to gain access to room, they left an envelope with key card that didn’t work, had to wait for someone from sister hotel to walk over and fix. No breakfast here, had to walk to sister hotel for that and restaurant closed during our stay. Better to book elsewhere"
