"This was a stunning hotel and after reading the reviews it did not disappoint! Unbelievably comfortable bed and breakfast was great. At time of stay hotel guests were allowed free access to the spa between 7-10am. Only downside is that all areas of the spa weren’t open. Overall brilliant stay and right in the middle of Bergen. "

"Unfortunately a strike was on at the hotels in Norway. Remains Staff did a wonderful job to keep the hotel operating a reduced capability. Breakfast offering greatly reduced with only very small reduction in cost. No room cleaning during our stay but no reduction in room rates. Again great job by staff but hotel could have more appropriately reduced costs to customers based upon reduced offering "

"Unfortunately the hotel chain was undergoing a strike so staff was minimal (albeit very helpful). The room was ok after a paid upgrade. Heater did not work and typical bathroom amenities were not present. Breakfast was great. Dinner was disappointing. One dish and dessert for fixed price of NOK 31. Instead of a full buffet. The hotel is in the suburbs but the tram to town was great. Be aware that there is about a 1/2 km walk to the station from the hotel. "
