Two team members who really stood out were Rob, whose professionalism was matched by his warmth, and Milky, a kind and happy presence who brought genuine joy to our experience. "The staff were very welcoming. The room was modern and very clean. Nicely done and well presented. Bedding and towels will not be to everyones taste, but functional. Everything good, but the rooms seem to be split larger rooms. Not sure how they are divided but everytime I dozed off the adjoining room had someone coughing that was really loud. Not sure if this is something that they can rectify. The restaurant food was excellent as well. Very good quality and value for money. "

"The stay was great. To say it was old is an understatement, 700 years is the oldest I've ever stayed in and the condition the owners have maintained is brilliant. If you're looking for a historical twee experience, go for this. The cost of the hotel and meals is inexpensive and good quality, the breakfast basic continental but Ok. We loved it."
