"It was alittle hard for me (an 86yr old granny) to find off the main street but well worth the effort. Once found, it is very close to the highway. The room was quiet and restful and as a gardener, I liked how welll groomed and pleasant the grounds were."

"Love the location. Right in the heart of Davis, there are so many restaurants you can walk to. Very short walk to the train station. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurants right next door is wonderful. "

"I checked in at 10:45pm. The person at the front lobby was courteous and very helpful. Ice water, one plain and one with lemon were readily visible and free. I was able to help myself to a wine glass. I was able to purchase a salad and there were a variety of choices to grab something to eat so I would not have to leave out to one of the nearby eating establishments. The rooms was spacious. "Everything was fine the first day! The next morning the maid just asked me if I needed towels and offered me a couple of them, thinking that she would come back to make the bed later! I went out to San Francisco and when I returned to my room my bed was not made. I don't know if it's a hotel rule, but the maid simply thought I didn't want service! And the key to open the door was deactivated several times "
