"Room 47 TV - Pixels broken on screen, so hard to watch and poor signal. Shower - Really poor, poor pressure, not a nice experience. Toilet - Temperamental, sometimes did not flush. Room - No hair dryer, had to ask at Reception. Overall not a great experience, would not stay again for work. "

"Easy, quick check in. Friendly and informative staff, 24 hour manned front desk, parking inclusive. Food and beverages good. Close to transport links for Merseyside and Greater Manchester. Would happily stay here again, "

"Property needs some tlc"

"The carpet floor in our room needed cleaning. When I had arrived I had explained briefly to the receptionist that I'm here for my mum's funeral the two nights I stayed at this hotel I couldn't sleep well . I then had try to get over my mum's funeral. I needed rest before I start my long journey back home to Suffolk. I Sadly left I hour and thirty minutes later leaving my room by not leaving by 11.am.I went to the reception to explain my situation regarding my bereavement of my loss of my mum. I had no sympathy from the reception when I left and I had to pay a late search charge of £10.00 not happy."

"this was a sports pub with rooms not a hotel. No breakfast available( which wasn’t made clear on booking) and no heating in bedroom in the morning. Room was fine if uninspiring and good refreshment tray for hot drinks."

"Room was lovely and very quiet considering the location. We were in a second floor room and the ceiling was a bit low for my 6'4" partner but everything was perfectly clean and very very comfortable. Not being able to get breakfast as the pub didn't open until half an hour after check out on a sunday was a bit of a pain. Luckily close to a few cafe's and other options so we managed. No option to store luggage that we were told about but we were only there a night so not really an issue for us and in fairness we didn't ask. We had dinner at the pub and it was good but the service was a little slow- it did seem to be very very busy so we might have just had bad luck. I did manage to break my foot after bumping into the end of the bed during the night so maybe keep a light handy and watch where you're going like I obviously didn't!!"
