Did not show us to the room, although easy to find (not accessible for anyone with a disability - two flights of stairs - not lift). Room was spacious for two. Given it was an old-ish annexe part of the main building the windows were draughty even with what seemed like outdated secondary glazing that barely closed (room 4). "Room furnishings are very dated and in a state of disrepair e.g. stained carpets, furniture drawers wonky and not closing properly, door handles coming off, the list is endless! I had to request a change of room which was slightly better and the in-room safe didn’t work. And when explaining this to staff I was asked what colour the safe was and was then met with an ‘ah, ok’, as if they expected it not to be working from the colour it was, remarkable! Evening meal was no better than supermarket...

"The premises is dated and very basic but suited my last minute plans. Not the cleanest in terms of the shower room and very noisy as doors slamming in the tiny joint/communal room access area immediately outside my door awoke me. Don’t rely on the buses nearby as I waited almost an hour for a bus to the city centre and gave up in the end. No shops nearby. If you require any get it before you arrive. "Nice and convenient "

"Room not cleaned once during my stay, it says when booking “on site restaurant “ yet they don’t serve food. Room too small, and tv couldn’t access freeview as the wifi kept buffering. Won’t book there again "

"The car park was only able to accomodate a small amount of cars, but there was plenty of parking on the side street which was ideal. The staff were very welcoming and extremely accomodating. The hotel is within walking distance to Anfield which was ideal as this is why we chose the hotel. My 9 year old son loved the hotel, describing it as the best ever. Mainly due to the 2 pool tables and all the memorabilia. We would definitely use this hotel again "
