"I didn't have any soap, got given it at 8pm, I had to be up at 12pm for travelling. I could hear noise from next doors tv. Ok just very old. Think it's very convienent though as it's in the center, still would use again"

It wasn’t made up on arrival and when the staff did come to make it it was obviously broken as she couldn't get it to stay open. On closer inspection the frame was all bent and was very uncomfortable for my young daughter."

"Lovely staff and breakfast. The room itself was good but cleanliness could be improved. Mould around shower and hairs on floors esp in corners with dust. Glass doors covered in bird poo. Comfortable bed but lumpy pillows. Very lively hotel in the centre of Exeter so do take earplugs if you want a quiet nights sleep. "

Kettle, tea, coffee & towels all available to use in our room. Staff very friendly & attentive. Parking at rear was FOC - nice perk! Very quiet at night - our room was at rear. After returning from our gig on a cold wet April night, it was so so nice to open the front door and the central heating had been put on. 😊"

"The hotel is in a very convenient location close to the city centre and cathedral. It is a historic building but we stayed in the fairly modern extension, which was a nice, spacious room with good facilities for tea and coffee etc. Breakfast was plentiful and you could order from a good range of cooked options including full English. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Managed free overnight parking opposite. Worked well combined with family visit. Had a quiet en-suite room plus a bathtub. What a treat. Offerred lots choices for breakfast - standard cost for all options. All the staff I met were lovely. Very friendly and it felt more like a family business than merely ‘corporate’."
