"Lovely staff, very nice room"

"Rooms have very thin walls. The daily fire show is absolutely pointless as you are sat on a beautiful beach with beautiful surroundings. Then all of a sudden some people turn up with the loudest speaker playing the worst music burning kerosene. Not needed and about as entertaining as a broken leg. Onsite singers also not particularly entertaining as can’t really sing. Some ambient vibes would be better. Breakfast hall too small for the amount of people. Lovely people but wouldn’t return."

"The property is set in beautiful surroundings. Very steep and hilly which is not for everyone. Need to get picked up by property’s Tuk Tuk to reception dining and pool. We stayed near the pool so that was easy. The difficult and dangerous part is access to the beach from the pool. There are a lot of uneven steps and limited railings. We loved being there had easy access into Karon Centre at night for 200bht lots of yummy restaurants and market."

"This property was very nice. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. We had a garden view suite and were able to walk right out to the pool. Staff at reception were good and maintenance staff fixed our hall light which wasn't working when we checked in due to electrical issues. Our only issue was the housekeeping staff which gave inconsistent service. One day they didn't come at all and we had to phone the front desk at 5:00 and ask if we could get more water as the hotel supplies 2...

"Stayed with my family. Great hotel and my kids loved the pool. Only down side was their breakfast which was average. Apart from that everything else was really good. I’d stay again. "

"Staff are friendly. The suite is very big and spacious. View is amazing from the suite. Condition of the hotel is not new but I would recomment it for the price."

"Maikhao hotel was in a convenient location…less than a mile from Maikhao beach and with plenty of dining options in the vicinity. The property was clean, but older and they were low staff - no bell man. Nonetheless, it is safe and clean enough for families."
