"The property was never 5 stars. We were four adults but they have dealt with us as if we were two in the room. The standard room was in a very poor standard. The hotel staff were not trained to deal with five stars attitude. The half board meant to them in their cheap style to offer us the four one medium size of water bottle. The entrance to the room was dirty so we had to clean it ourselves. They never filled any tea or sugar or even toilet rolls unless we ask. We had to ask for clean towels...

"I personally did not like the place. Main reason it felt like a damp in the rooms. No proper windows or airflow. Also surrounded by the continues construction. I did not stay at the apartment. My loss. It is what you pay for. So I end renting another room in Malia. Malia is little more lively and my hotel room was closer to 4*"

"Wonderful welcome from wonderful staff. Nothing feels like too much trouble. The standard room was basic but was perfectly sufficient for our needs and cleaned every day. The hotel has a boutique style with 2 nice outdoor pools and one indoor, next to the small but sufficiently equipped gym. Unfortunately we did not have time to try out the spa treatments but the staff were also very nice in there. We were half-board and found the food to be excellent - lots of choice, very fresh and again,...

"We had a wonderful stay with a room that looked out directly on to the beach – perfect! The pool was lovely and clean. We enjoyed breakfast a lot, especially because they had dietary information and gluten free bread available for me! The star of the holiday was the a-la carte restaurant, Onirókipos, though, because the food was incredible and the service fantastic. Can't fault our stay!"
