"I liked the property overall, but not this particular unit (18C). The road noise was very loud, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep, and there was also a persistent electrical noise coming from the wall in the master bedroom. When we contacted the office, we were told to use earplugs, which wasn’t a satisfactory solution. We also couldn’t enjoy the balcony—having breakfast or even a cup of tea or coffee wasn’t pleasant due to the constant noise from cars driving right next to the unit. Next time, I’ll definitely double-check the specific unit before booking."

"Located about 45 minutes to the summit area of Haleakalā and about 2 hours from the Kipahula area. Good centralized location to visit all areas of Maui. I chose this property because of closeness to Haleakala. Unfortunately, the park was closed during our stay. This gave us time to visit all 4 regions oh Maui! All beautiful! This property is well maintained and just what we were looking for. Comfortable, clean and good value. Bedrooms are small, but adequate with mini frig in room. Beds comfortable. Plenty of shelves for storage. No air conditioning but ceiling fan made room comfortable. Showers and bathrooms are just down the hall and clean. Community kitchen that includes use of dishes and utensils in your own cupboard. Refrigerator space is available if needed. Microwave and stove available. Comfortable sitting room where you can relax and visit. Everyone was extremely friendly but left you alone if that is what you want. I did not use the hot tub or outdoor shower but both looked nice. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again if I go back! Maui pineapple is down the road-recommend buying some pineapple! Delicious!"

"100% a budget stay. Directly next to public housing. The room was very musty. Thin walls. No phone service and weak Wi-Fi that didn't work every night. Roosters will crow right outside your door at any time day or night. And my floor had gross brown spots that looked like chocolate or poop."

"Four Seasons is worth every penny, every time. They are excellent. This property and the service is unmatched in the area. I stayed all of last week and then came back. Staff is so excellent. Property is gorgeous. It's just perfect. A lot of things aren't worth the price these days, but I have to say this hotel is worth the money. 5 stars."

"The staff were all super!! They were friendly and helpful during the super crazy Kona storm which made several areas of the hotel wet and prevented some staff from even making it to work, but we were able to spend time enjoying the view from inside and being outside when it wasn't raining. You can hang out in the lobby after check-out and the shuttle drivers are friendly, too. "
