"After driving three and a half hours to reach our accommodation, we were shocked to be told on arrival that our room had been cancelled. We received no phone call, email, or any form of communication beforehand.
When we spoke to the hotel staff, they repeatedly blamed the third-party booking platform, saying that was the reason for the cancellation. This made no sense, as I have used this same platform for years to book holidays both overseas and throughout Australia without ever experiencing...

"How this is a 4 star hotel is beyond me.
Woke up at 2am sweating as the aircon doesn’t actually work and sounds like an airplane about to take off.
The toilet constantly made noises and I am confident the walls are paper thin. Any conversation outside of our room was heard and the doors constantly slamming kept us awake all morning. For $300 a night I would not stay here again."

The most disappointing aspect, and the sight that...
