"Some things were great, some things were a bit off. The property itself is very nice and the play area for kids on level -1 is really great. Our son enjoyed playing there for a few hours. The pool is also nice, but the hot tubs outside are quite small. The concierge was able to arrange babysitting, which was really nice, except they got the times wrong so I was really glad I double checked before the babysitter came. They also couldn't tell me the price correctly, which resulted in an awkward situation with the babysitter. My wife has a dairy allergy and it was great that the restaurant has a menu with allergy information. However there was only one item on the whole menu that my wife could have. We really appreciated the efforts of "

"The staff was quite rude and with attitude. No free water is absolutely ridiculous for a 4 star hotel. No drinks with a dinner is very strange. Buffet style dinner was amazing, but the portions of the evening meals were like for children."

The room was very clean and there was good game rooms and the view outside was to die for. The only bad thing was that you had to carry your skis around 350 meters before you could get to the skiing spot. "We had a great stay at the Kempinski High Tatrus. This hotel had an established, genuinely 5 star feel. It knows what it is, and delivers brilliantly. The setting is outstanding, with a frozen lake and snow on the ground, but we didn’t see a cloud in 4 days. The service is great, and the breakfast generous. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable; there is a pillow and duvet menu… all in a great stay. "
