"We’ve stayed at Samaria Hotel on many occasions and find it quite charming each visit… The staff are very friendly, often going above and beyond to ensure your stay is wonderful… The pool is a great asset, alongside the on-site enclosed parking area… A block away from the main port of Chania so no need for a car in the evenings if you’re staying close by… Overall a wonderful hotel, with a wonderful location! "All in all excellent, ticked absoloutely all boxes for our requirements. Needed a "Staging Post" as early check out from holiday accomodation and very late flight time. On arrival reception staff very pleasant and helpful, in fact our room was ready for us earlier than normal time. Ground floor room, so no problems with heavy suitcases, very pleasant garden and clean pool with basic loungers and shade if required. Chambre très propre et nettoyé et rangé tous les matins pendant que nous étions au petit-déjeuner. Présence d’un balcon qui nous permettait de profiter du coucher de soleil avec vu sur la mer.
Personnel très très gentil, agréable et serviable.
Emplacement super avec plages notamment une très belle et petite accessible à pied depuis l’hôtel. D’autres sont à quelques kilomètres.

"Very clean and accessible in the heart of Old Chania . Plenty of places to eat , shopping and a 20 minute walk to the local beach . The host was always available via WhatsApp and helpful . Highly recommended. "

"It was a great hotel close to Balos and Elafonissi beaches. The hotel was really clean, but there was some funky smell close to our room when we opened the door. The pool was nice and the beach was absolutely beautiful. The waves were a little harsh, but really great. "
"Our stay at the Royal Sun Hotel was perfect. The room with the sea view and balcony was of a high standard, clean and comfortable. The Hill restaurant, where we ate breakfast each day, had a stunning view overlooking the old port and the sea, and was a delight to sit at each morning. The breakfast choice and quality was probably the best we’ve ever experienced. The pool was great with that brilliant view and plenty of chairs and sunbeds to choose from.

"Property was clean and accessible to old town Chania. It is a great location and the view of the harbor was wonderful. We were in the "Duke" room which was more spacious than the "Lord" room my son rented. There is no elevator at the property, You must climb stairs and if you rent a car there is no parking associated with the property. Street parking is crowded and limited"
