"We were not happy with the hotel overall. The staff were friendly and accommodating but the beds and breakfast we had expected more of considering the price. On the hotel's information page it says that breakfast costs 7 € but we were charged 11 € so just over 50% more expensive. The beds and pillows were not good, only one pillow and low quality beds. The prices at the hotel are about 40 - 50% more expensive than other comparable hotels. Overall, we unfortunately have to give a low rating...

"Amazing staff, very comfy room with aircon (great as it was v hot when we visited). Decent breakfast. However, the location of this hotel really is a distance away from the places you’re likely to want to go as a tourist, especially the schloss and old town. I walked in in the first evening and it took me 25 mins (admittedly I have short legs and it was hot!). "Lovely hotel in a very quiet part of Schwerin, about 15 minutes walk from the railway station. Breakfast, although relatively expensive, was superb and well worth the money. Though not something I could manage every day. They have a very nice selection of wine and it would have been nice to have a bar area to enjoy these without going into the restaurant. "
