A special mention to Vineet from Alifaan Restaurant and Elaiza from Raha Restaurant – both of you made every dining experience a delight with your warm hospitality and attentive service. And to the Dive Centre team, Hassan, Arif, Dhambo, Jamaal, and Rafa has created one of the highlights of my trip. The cruise out was nothing short of magical, and thanks to the team, I was able to witness so many beautiful manta rays up close. An experience I will never forget. My heartfelt thanks also go to the Housekeeping team, who surprised me with a beautifully decorated room for my birthday. The thoughtfulness and effort put into the surprise touched me deeply and made the celebration extra memorable. Finally, a big thank you to Meru, our amazing host, who took such good care of us throughout the stay. "This is a rare find and we felt very privileged to stay here. The island is a locals island and felt like a real Maldivian experience. As advertised, you can dive 3 times each day which is amazing. The staff are all incredibly lovely and kind. The rooms are perfect for what you need with air con and good Wi-Fi. The food was plentiful and really tasty. If you’re up for an adventure and don’t feel the need for a polished version of the Maldives then this is the place to be. Cultural appropriation is important here and you won’t be sipping beers in the evening but you definitely won’t be disappointed. My 14yr old daughter was taught to dive and given the opportunity to do her PADI course whilst there with the very experienced Midhoo who was was awesome. We are truly grateful. Take some local currency and mosquito repellent !"
