Hyatt Place Gothenburg Central

"We enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Place Gothenburg Central. The hotel was extremely convenient, located directly at the train station where we arrived from Stockholm. After a long day of travel, we especially appreciated the very short walk from the train to the hotel. Although we arrived late in the evening, there were still a few nearby places open where we could purchase snacks before checking in. The check-in process was seamless, and our room was clean, quiet, and well maintained. We also appreciated being able to take the elevator directly to the train station level, where there were shops and restaurants. The location made transportation very easy, and Uber drivers were familiar with the hotel pickup area. The only drawback was the size and temperature of the room. We had booked accommodations for three people with an additional bed, which made the space feel quite tight. The room also became warm at night, the windows could not be opened, and we were unable to control the air conditioning. Overall, the excellent location, cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, and easy access to transportation made this a very convenient place to stay in Gothenburg."

"Had a wonderful 4 nights at the hotel, very child friendly, clean spacious rooms, could do with a few drawers but other than that very good. Excellent choice at breakfast, plenty of activities for children to do. Would recommend for families."

"We had an amazing stay at Clarion Hotel Draken in Gothenburg! The hotel is modern, stylish, and in a fantastic location with easy access to the city’s main attractions. The rooms were incredibly spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. One of the highlights was the spectacular rooftop restaurant and bar, offering breathtaking views over Gothenburg and a wonderful atmosphere—definitely a must-visit during your stay. We couldn’t have a chance to eat breakfast due to the jet lag but the breakfast buffet was outstanding, with an impressive selection of fresh, high-quality options to suit every taste. Every meal we had was delicious, and the dining experience exceeded our expectations. The staff were welcoming, professional, and always happy to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gothenburg and would happily stay here again!"

"We had a great stay at this modern, upscale hotel. Our room was large and nicely decorated and had large windows overlooking Gothenburg from the 21st floor. The rate included spa access and daily breakfast. The spa is very good, and we took advantage of the sauna, pool and other amenities. Location is across the street from Liseberg, a large amusement park, but a bit further away from the other major tourist attractions. However, Gothenburg is not a huge city, and we were able to walk and scooter everywhere in under 40 mins. We really enjoyed our stay at the Upper House and would highly recommend it to others looking for an upscale stay."

"It was a good hotel. Overall, nice experience."
