"Highly recommended!!!! Great location, 1 stop away from Kyoto Station (bullet train and all other major train and subway lines). The area itself is quieter, a 7-11 right next o the hotel and a grocery store about 15 min walk away. The hotel however is a stand out! It has a very calm, spa vibe throughout the hotel. The rooms are spacious, the amenities are plentiful. We stayed in a 3 twin room (2 adults and 1 child) the bathroom has a tub and shower wet room with separate toilet room. The public onsen is a welcome addition. The buffet breakfast has lots for both western and Japanese palates. I am astonished this is not considered 5 star and will likely be the best stay during our Japan trip."
