I was working in the area and unexpectedly needed somewhere to stay for a couple of nights. I received a warm welcome and found the place clean, comfortable and convenient. Simple free parking right across the road. Excellent food.

Chambre n°2 trop exigüe. SDB un peu viellote, à rafraîchir. Circulation difficile dans la chambre vu l'étroitesse des lieux. Par contre, rien à redire sur la restauration. Bon produits avec une cuisine de qualité.PDJ copieux, de qualité et varié.Salle de restauration agréable.

une salle de bain d'un autre temps : baignoire avec paroi de douche qui laisse filtrer au moins un litre d'eau au sol au bout d'une douche, aucune accroche pour le pommeau de douche donc on se lave à une main, les serviettes de toilettes ont du voir le passage à l'an 2000, sèche-cheveux très très faible, aucun rangement ou étagère pour poser ses affaires de toilettes, ....

Great restaurant, great value accommodation

We stayed for two nights in April and organised a family dinner in the restaurant on Saturday night. Hospitality, service and dinner were first class - and the dinner menus gave all seven of us plenty of choices. The accommodation was comfortable and great value for €70. L'Oree des Bois is a great spot for exploring the countryside and villages north of Saumur - and it's only 5 minutes from the A85 junction at Vivy. Very highly recommended.

The hotel bedrooms needed to be updated, it was very hot in the bedroom ,no air conditioning or fan. The restaurant and bar were very pleasant and an excellent patio garden. On the booking form it stated that the front reception was open between 8am and 10pm when actually it was closed between 3pm and 6pm we arrived at 4pm not happy as it was extremely hot and we were desperate for a shower. Positives were friendly staff and lovely breakfast.

un plaisir simple mais vrai

tout est parfait des professionnels, des vrais, des viennoiseries fait maison pur beurre ! - un petit établissement que je recommande à tous étant moi-même ancien professionnel de l'hôtellerie. une salle des fêtes en face de l'hôtel avec des fêtards ennivrés le veille de la fête de la musique.
